Freaky Paradox

Inspired by the history of 'Freak Show', this project studies human perceptions towards something that is 'abnormal' and the mechanism of alienating and dehumanizing objects that are unidentified. The project starts by recreating the style of dandyism in a way that is unfamiliar to the viewer and moves on to the exploration of creating prints that build up 'abnormal' from 'normal'. The key element of the project is to create a slight uncanniness and discomfort from the daily presentable suits that are so familiar to the audience.
